One in seven schoolkids in Georgia, regardless of their economic status, goes to school without breakfast. Another untold number grabs a King Don or a bag of Ruffles and eats it on the way to school.
This is a serious problem. How can the United States maintain its global pre-eminence if our next generation of leaders is learning on an empty stomach – or worse, a sugar-carb high?
POV offers this solution to preserve and enhance our place in the competitive global economy: The Breakfast Parfait.
It’s quick and easy. It’s delicious. And with a balance of carbs and protein, it’ll have your kids ready to tackle everything from algebra to zoology.
Just ask Audrey Baxter, a second-grader at Clairemont Elementary School in Decatur (and daughter of POV’s Michael Baxter). “I love it,” she says.
