Just when you think you’ve brought a consistent look and sound to your company’s communications, you catch a glimpse of one of your salespeople’s PowerPoint presentations. It’s as though the perfect synchronized swimming routine you choreographed for your brand just got crashed by your 8-year-old nephew’s ultimate cannonball off the high dive.
Much like your nephew, salespeople don’t mean any harm when they stray from your color scheme, use bizarre fonts, even alter your corporate logo. They’re just trying to make a sale. But unless you give them proper guidance, the creative license they take in their PowerPoint presentations can undo much of your good work to build a consistent brand.
