Inside the CDC: Building Support for the nation's premier health agency

Result: The CDC Foundation has built an enviable record of support for scientists at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention by highlighting CDC’s work, both online and in print.

How we did it: The CDC Web site is a wealth of health information covering 100,000 Web pages. But missing from this site is the human face of CDC. To help the CDC Foundation make a case for CDC among its target audiences, POV developed TheFrontLine, a newsletter that escorted readers to the front lines of CDC’s vital work. POV then extended this concept to the Foundation’s Web site – and made it possible for anyone to get involved with the nation’s premier health agency.
